Description
Frederick Rocks is a way to connect the cities and towns in our community, to encourage art, and promote random acts of kindness as a way of life in Frederick county.
Anyone can participate and it's very simple! You paint whatever you want on a rock (anything positive!), seal it with an acrylic sealer (important) and then hide it in public areas around the county! (NO State or National Parks, though!)
If you find a rock it is yours to keep, leave it, or re-hide it.
SUPPLIES:
-Paint (acrylic paint is the most commonly used)
-Paint Brushes
-Sealer (Krylon is a pretty popular sealer. Matte finish sets quicker, and Crystal Clear dries shiny!)
-Paint pens are perfect for writing, outlining, detail, etc.
-Rocks! you can purchase bags of river rock at home improvement stores, they are nice, smooth and easy to paint!
