  1. Library Learners: Clara Barton at Thurmont Library -  Explore reading, science, history, and art through crafts, activities, and games!  Designed for elementary-aged learners.
  1. Teen Pottery Studio: Pinch Pots! At Urbana Library - Join us for Teen Pottery Studio where we create with our hands! This month we will be making pinch pots. Create and hang out with friends! 
  1. Kids Club: Shovel, Plant, and Play in the Garden and Critters Sensory Bin Online at Michaels - Go on a gardening adventure with this sensory bin! Join Meredith as she guides us through imaginative play using the Creativity for Kids Garden & Critter Sensory Bin. Each uniquely themed bin will allow children to explore, discover, imagine, learn and create while engaging their senses and having FUN! Choose from eight themed bins; Bake Shop, Race Track, Mermaid Lagoon, Construction Zone, Ice Cream Shop, Ocean & Sand, Dinosaur Dig and Garden & Critter. All materials are safety-tested for ages 3+ and can be found at Michaels.com. 
  1. Fun with Fiber Arts at Walkersville Library - Investigate the world of fiber arts.  
  1. Mr. Jon and Friends at the Kids Fun Zone, Home Garden Expo, at Frederick Fairgrounds - Frederick's Favorite Children's Rockstar, Mr. Jon & Friends, is rocking the house at the Frederick Home & Garden Expo! Bring the whole family for an exciting show, sponsored by Betsy Cain Properties, then plant your own garden in the Ruppert Landscape Kid's Center. Takes place at the Frederick Home & Garden Expo - fun for the whole family! 
  1. Cardinal Garden Ornament Workshop at Lowes - Gather your little builders to spread their DIY wings and craft a Cardinal Garden Ornament. Kids will learn basic building skills as they follow the steps to create a unique item for the garden. 
  1. Frederick County 275th: From Sheep to Sweater at Thurmont Library - Meet a shepherdess who will teach kids about caring for sheep and how farmers turn wool into clothing.  
  1. Soothing Sounds of the Celtic Harp at Middletown Library - Local harper Jim Dronenburg will delight us with the beautiful sounds of the Celtic harp. 
  1. Barnes and Nobles Kids Storytime - Our Weekly Storytime is back in our Children's Department.  Come and join us as we read some awesome books! 
  1. Family Storytime at C. Burr Artz Public Library - Enjoy stories, fingerplays, rhymes, and more.
