- Pop on Over to The Original Popcorn House - Our dedication to creating the finest batch of popcorn is our most important family tradition. Check back regularly as we are always developing new flavors of the most unique popcorn recipes.
- Slime Lab at Thurmont Library - Make your own slime creation with whatever special ingredients you choose.
- Little Hands Cooking at Ballenger Creek Teaching Kitchen - This class incorporates recipes, age-appropriate culinary skills, basic nutrition, literature, and movement. Colors, shapes, numbers, counting, and physical development are just a few of the skills learned from cooking. Come explore them all!
- Halloween American Girl and Lego Bingo at Lewistown Volunteer Fire Co - Join us for some Halloween fun with Lego and American Girl bingo! Players will have the opportunity to win all kinds of Lego sets or American Girl prizes- you pick which you'd rather have! Concessions will also be available through Lewistown Fire Hall. An advance ticket gives you access to 10 games and 5 specials games that include larger prizes. Players of all ages are welcome, but all attendees over 3 must have a ticket!
- Art in the Park: Pumpkin Decorating at Fountain Rock Park - Bring a friend to create nature-inspired works of art with one of the naturalists in our park. We have a variety of techniques to explore and fun projects for you to take home. All materials will be provided.
- Fall Festival at Frederick LightHouse - Add The Frederick Lighthouse FALL FESTIVAL to your fall bucket list!
- Trunk or Treat at Fusion Fitness and Dance - This is a FREE event open to the public! We will be having an outdoor dance party, arts & crafts, and a costume contest! Come dressed up and with a decorated trunk!
- Woodsboro Days at Woodsboro Regional Park - October 15th yard sales all around town with a large yard sale, food, and bake sale at the Woodsboro Lutheran Church.
- Family Comedy Show: Christine and the Harvest King at Magnolia Meadows Farm - Grammy-nominated artist Ray Owen presents “Christine and The Harvest King,” a good time farm heritage and harvest celebration! A great, tuneful tribute to the American farmer, celebrating farm life, the good earth, and old-fashioned country living. Embracing a bountiful blend of songs, stories, comedy, and family fun! A perfect show for the kids! 3 showtimes at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm.
