  1. Bedtime Storytime at the Middletown Branch Library - Enjoy stories, music, movement, and rhymes at our bedtime storytime. Come dressed in your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal! 
  1. Movie Night at the Big Red Barn (Fox Haven Farms) - Grab your blankets and lawn chairs to join us for a movie night in the big red barn! 
  1. Barnes and Noble Kids Storytime - Our Weekly Storytime is back on Wednesdays at 11AM in our Children's Department.  Come and join us as we read some awesome books! 
  1. National Banana Split Day - Pop into the Pop Shop on Market for something yummy!  Tell them Macaroni Kid Frederick sent you!
  1. Storytime at the Bog Shack - Enjoy a special outdoor storytime at the Bog Shack.

  1. Fridays at the Fountain - Monocacy Brewing Co. presents Fridays at the Fountain: a FREE music series featuring live bands, great outdoor vibes, and, as always—quality beer. 
  1. Family Apple Days at Gaver Farm - It’s time to pick our favorite early apples- Blondee and Buckeye Galas! Come out with the family to pick your own apples from 8 am – 12 noon.
  1. Twilight’s Last Gleaming at Gathland State Park - Discover the significance of Crampton’s Gap and Brownsville Pass during the Battle of South Mountain and the important role artillery played during the battle. Cannon firing demonstrations are presented on both days (Aug 27th and 28th)  at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
