- Fall Fun Fest at Gaver Farm - Enjoy fall on the farm by conquering the twists and turns of the corn maze, bouncing on the jumping pillows, petting and feeding the farm animals and cruising down the giant slides. There are over 60 attractions, appropriate for any age including 2 jumping pillows, Chicken Show, farm animals, mini mazes, playgrounds, duck races, ball games, photo centers and so much more! Gaver Farm is a beautiful, clean, historic farm with picnic areas, free hayrides to Pick Your Own pumpkins and apples, delicious food!
- Outdoor Yoga with Yogamour at Sky Stage - Good Will Yoga for only $10 at Sky Stage! This class is for ALL levels! **Enrollment may be limited in accordance with city/county coronavirus social-distancing protocols; please register at yogamour.org; space for drop-ins not guaranteed.
- Fall Festival at Summers Farm - Summers Farm is the place to go for family fun in the Fall! With more than 45 activities, there is something for folks of all ages. Take a scenic wagon ride to our pick-your-own pumpkin patch, slide down the giant slide, jump on the jumping pillow, visit with our animals in the barnyard and so much more! Spend the day creating memories with friends and family. For a unique experience, visit the farm on Friday or Saturday nights and make your way through our 12 acre corn maze by flashlight. We also have fireworks Friday and Saturday nights from October 1st to October 23rd, weather permitting!
- Kindness Rocks! Decorate, hide and find rocks around Frederick - Frederick Rocks is a way to connect the cities and towns in our community, to encourage art, and promote random acts of kindness as a way of life in Frederick county. Anyone can participate and it's very simple! You paint whatever you want on a rock (anything positive!), seal it with an acrylic sealer (important) and then hide it in public areas around the county! (NO State or National Parks, though!) If you find a rock it is yours to keep, leave it, or re-hide it.
- Half-price Friday Nights at the National Aquarium - Friday is your night! Enjoy access to our award-winning exhibits for half the price of general admission during Half-Price Friday Nights, brought to you by M&T Bank. An evolution of our Friday After Five program, Half-Price Friday Nights runs year-round, allowing you to spend any (or every) Friday evening after 5 pm with our 20,000 animals in award-winning habitats. Tickets are available online or Friday evenings on-site.
- Autumn Excursion at Walkersville Southern Railroad - The ride is leisurely, with speeds limited to ten miles per hour. Passengers may choose to ride in our open-air excursion car, remodeled passenger coaches, or the caboose. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and excursions last 1 hour and 10 minutes and are held rain or shine!
