The centerpiece of the event is a doggy and owner Halloween costume contest and parade. Children absolutely love to watch it and participate in it! We also have scheduled a dog training demonstration from Sit Means Sit in Frederick that was very popular last year. We have a Leader Dog trainer who will speak. We are also in discussion with the Frederick Police Department for a police K9 demonstration.
We have many exhibitors that add to the event including trainers, photographers, doggy day cares, groomers, and veterinarians. In short, it is an overall celebration of dogs!! And best of all, all proceeds go to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
