- Peep Diorama Contest - Maryland Style (The Frederick Basket Company) - Love Them or Not – just like the marshmallow candies, creating a diorama using them is unforgettable. So, Let’s Have Some Maryland Peep Fun! This year’s theme is just that ‘Maryland’ – Take cues from current events, places, businesses, or pop culture with Peeps as the characters. All age groups are welcome, businesses, organizations, and school classrooms can enjoy this fun activity.
- Bikes For the World Event at Brook Hill United Methodist Church - Donate your adult and child bicycles to be shipped to those in need around the world.
- Spring Egg-Stravaganza at Thurmont Event Compex - Craft, yard sale, and vendor event!
- Raise the Racks at Catoctin Creek - Join us as we prepare to welcome our Purple Martins and other migrating birds back to Catoctin Creek Park. Help prepare the martin nesting gourds and join in a wide variety of family-friendly birding activities including: live animal presentations, bird walks, and kids' crafts.
- Community Easter Egg Hunt at Weller United Methodist Church - There will be prizes, snacks, face painting, and pictures that can be taken with the Easter Bunny! If you are interested in helping please contact the church office.
- Mad Hatter Tea Party at FSK Mall - Join us for a children’s Alice in Wonderland-themed tea party! Meet the Mad Hatter and Alice while you enjoy the fun, games, and sweet treats at Center Court.

We’ll stroll through the garden, identify the herbs that make up our tea, then sit down for a tea tasting along with a light snack.
