  1. It Takes a Village at Walkersville Library - Join for a caregiver-led discussion and playgroup for tips and tricks to help navigate raising little ones.  
  1. Sensory Play at Scott Key Community Center - This is a program for toddlers with sensory and developmental differences. We will have structured sensory experiences and free play. This is a parent-and-child program. Program Levels: 1 - 2 Goals: To improve motor skills, executive planning, and creativity.
  1. Parkway Elementary: Chipotle Fundraiser Night - Help the Parkway Elementary PTA raise funds for their Panda activities. Grab dinner from Chipotle and 33% of event sales will be donated to PES PTA.
  1. Holiday Dinosaur Crafts at Lewistown Fire Dept - We're going to make holiday dinosaurs! You can make a Hanukkah one or Christmas or however else you want to dress them up! We'll have hats, presents, all kinds of dino decor for you to make your dinosaur the most festive one in town! While these are a fun craft for all ages, the cost does include a child and adult- the adult is only helping the child make theirs. We will provide a small sweet treat. 
  1. Storytime at The Heritage Garden - Held the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10-11am in the secret Kid's Corner of the Heritage Garden. If rains, event will be held the next day. 
  1. School Skills at Myersville Library - Young learners can practice skills they will need for school - listening, asking, writing, cutting, tracing, and more. 
  1. Maryland Christmas Show - The show offers seven buildings. You'll enjoy the works of top artists and craftsmen offering fine art, pottery, furniture, jewelry, clothing, wreaths and garlands, toys and Christmas ornaments - just about anything related to your Christmas shopping enjoyment. Not all of the same exhibitors participate in both weekends.
  1. Sailing Through the Winter Solstice Launch Day in Downtown Frederick - Watch as the STTWS 2022 fleet starts their voyage for the season. The fleet will sail in place and be illuminated nightly for the entire winter season for all to enjoy. The event is free and open to the public. Traditional Mexican food truck will be on site and The Dapper Dj's will be on hand to set the mood for a jolly good day. Please be cautious and careful as this is an event with heavy machinery and there will be plenty of safe viewing area on the suspension bridge. 
  1. Holidays on the Farm at Chartreuse and Co - Get dibs on all the great holiday decor, and get inspired for the coming season.  Dozens of designers, artisans, and dealers turn this family-farm-turned-vintage-market into a winter wonderland.  The huge dairy barn and its surrounding grounds are loaded with holiday trim and vintage decor.  Artisan boutiques fill the barnyard.  Great photo-ops for your holiday pictures.  Visitors say, "It's like a 3D Pinterest board!" 
  1. Kids Class: Fused Glass Turkey at Hot Fired Arts - It's all about the turkeys! Sign your kiddo up to have fun creating their own turkey wall hanging with Fused Glass! Turkeys will be pre-drawn so all they need to do is fill in the colors where they want them!
