- Elementary Explorers at C. Burr Artz Public Library - Expand your horizons, make friends, and more as we explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math with hands-on afterschool activities! Elementary Explorers takes place every Tuesday afternoon at 4pm.
- Concerts on the Promenade at Westview Promenade - Join us for our free concerts on the promenade!
- Family Storytime with Eddie the Notorious P.I.G - Join us at Kim Weddle Park (next to the Brunswick Library) for a special storytime featuring Eddie the Notorious P.I.G.! For potential weather cancellations please check our library website or call your local library. All ages are welcome!
- School Skills for Preschoolers at Walkersville Library - Preshoolers and their caregivers will practice school-readiness skills with cutting, tracing, play, and other literacy activities.
- Trick or Treat at Pediatric Movement Center - Come in costume to our free Trick-or-Treat event! It’ll be a spooktacular time! Participants are welcome to attend a special Open Gym event for $5 after they’re finished trick-or-treating (between 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm)!
- Field Fresh Farmers Market at the Frederick County Fairgrounds - Field Fresh Farmers Market is conveniently located in Lot A of the Frederick Fairgrounds. Lot A is directly off Franklin St. which is right across from the main entrance to the fairgrounds on E. Patrick St. Our location allows us to spread out our vendors and allows room for you, our customers, to practice social distancing. There is plenty of convenient parking available to make your shopping experience even better.
- 26th Annual Country Fair at St. Joseph-on-Carrollton-Manor - Save the Date! This year's Country Fair will take place October 22, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. *Rain or Shine* FREE ADMISSION | FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY | Games - Crafts - Food - Entertainment Raffles - Books - Grandma's Attic Thrift & More.
- Wonder Fall at Catoctin Creek - Join us as we celebrate the fall season at Catoctin Creek Park. Bring the family out to enjoy a variety of family-friendly, nature-based activities including: live animal presentations, a scavenger hunt, fall crafts, a crazy costume hike, and seasonal treats! Wear your costumes or dress up in your favorite, comfy fall fashions! The cost is per person and participants must be pre-registered to attend.
- 3rd Annual Canines on the Creek - The centerpiece of the event is a doggy and owner Halloween costume contest and parade. Children absolutely love to watch it and participate in it! We also have scheduled a dog training demonstration from Sit Means Sit in Frederick that was very popular last year. We have a Leader Dog trainer who will speak. We are also in discussion with the Frederick Police Department for a police K9 demonstration.
- Mindful Kids Parents Night Out at Fit2Shine Studio - Drop the kids with us and have some time to yourself. Go out, stay in, take a nap, clean the house...whatever your heart desires! But we recommend checking out Prospect Pantry's Open Mic Night right down the street hosted by our very own Erica!
