  1. National Lazy Mom's Day - It's the perfect day for a massage and a facial at Massage Envy Urbana. Tell them Macaroni Kid Frederick sent you.
  1. All Level Yoga with Yogamour - The Yogamour mission is to bring the therapeutic aspects of yoga and mindfulness to survivors of trauma, marginalized communities and “in-need” populations as an adjunct therapy towards healing and self-regulation.
  1. Adventures in STEAM at Walkersville Branch Library - Preschoolers and their caregivers will learn all about the world of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics with a variety of hands-on activities. 
  1. Gyro Days and Greek Festival at Saint Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church - Come and experience authentic Greek cuisine, live music, and traditional dance performances.
  1. What the Craft! Backpack Charms at C. Burr Artz Public Library - Is your backpack looking bland? Why not add a little bling? Teens and Tweens--join us as we assemble keychain charms to hang from your bag and refresh your look! 
  1. Little Hands Cooking at Ballenger Creek Teaching Kitchen - This class incorporates recipes, age-appropriate culinary skills, basic nutrition, literature, and movement. Colors, shapes, numbers, counting, and physical development are just a few of the skills learned from cooking. Come explore them all!
  1. Kids Class: Clay PinchPot Creatures at Hot Fired Arts - We're playing in clay!  Great way to experience clay for the first time or hone your clay molding skills.
  1. In the Streets in Downtown Frederick - The outdoor street festival includes eight blocks of themed fun, including areas highlighting children’s activities, local art organizations, regional artisans, history, sports, and more.  Visitors will also find four stages of live entertainment, the Craft Beverage Experience featuring local brews & cocktails, delicious food, and more!  (Some activities charge a fee.) 
  1. Free Fallfest at Heartland Foods - Family fun for everyone with complimentary food and drinks, a DJ, moon bounce, kids crafts, and more!
  1. Bee Demonstration for Kids at Fox Haven Farm - Enjoy a presentation led by our beekeeper, Taylor Roman. Learn about the amazing biology and behavior of honey bees, how honey is made, and the importance of all bees and other pollinators in the production of food. Participants are welcome to pack a picnic to enjoy on the land before or after class.
