1. Water Safety with Goldfish Swim School
Join Bubbles, the friendly face of Goldfish Swim School, as we learn about water safety and get ready to have the best summer ever!
2. Preschool Science: Garden Science
It's spring! Let's learn about what a plant needs to grow and have some garden-themed STEAM fun! With seeds from vegetables and flowers, you will use dirt and water to help your seeds get started to transplant outside once they sprout.
Come on out to see the Flying Cows at their last game of the season! Their Barnyard Bash is a free, family-friendly, pre-game tailgating event - There will be ice cream, animals, live music, games and of course food trucks. After the bash, buy tickets and head over to the game. Tip-off is at 5 p.m.!
Earthfest is a celebration of our relationship with the natural world. Hosted by the Master Gardeners of Frederick County, this is an opportunity for you to learn about the Master Gardener and 4-H programs, other local nonprofits, and relevant Frederick County government agencies. Find out about good environmental practices you can implement in your own backyard. This family-friendly event includes many activities geared towards children, such as flower crafts, Buzzin' Through the Garden, and Storytime in the Garden. There will be displays inside and outside the University of Maryland Extension Building and tours of the Demonstration Gardens.
