Frederick County Public Schools and FCPL team up to help parents prepare for their child's big step into kindergarten at this event. Kindergarten teachers from Waverley Elementary will walk parents through signing their child up for kindergarten, answer questions about the process, and share milestones and tips to make sure your child is ready for kindergarten.
2. Tiny Artisans: Toddler Sensory Art and Play
Embark on a colorful journey with your tiny ones at Tiny Artisans, where we bring imagination to life every Toddler Tuesday! Our sensory art and play drop-in sessions are crafted specifically for curious minds aged 1 to 4, transforming ordinary Tuesdays into extraordinary adventures. Come be a part of Tiny Artisans and witness the joy of artistic exploration in the tiniest hands!
3. 34th Annual Children's Festival in Baker Park
In conjunction with the national Month of the Young Child, the children and families of Frederick County are invited to experience the 34th Annual Children’s Festival in Baker Park, located at the the corner of Bentz and Second Street in Downtown Frederick, Maryland, from 10:00am – 3:00pm.
4. South Mountain Creamery Spring Festival
It’s that time of year again–one of our biggest and most favorite events is almost here! Join us on the farm for a day full of FREE family-fun activities. Don't miss the fun!
Join the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution and the Frederick Historic Sites Consortium for a "Walk Through History" highlighting the role that Frederick County has played in the birth and development of our nation. This event will take place on Carroll Creek Park in Downtown Frederick.
