Small Business Saturday® - November 26th, 2016

How to Support Small Businesses in Your Community

By Toni Garcia, Publisher & Editor, Commerce City Macaroni Kid November 25, 2016
November 26th marks the sixth annual Small Business Saturday®, a day dedicated to supporting the local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country. Small Business Saturday® was created by American Express in 2010 in response to small business owners’ most pressing need -- more customers -- and is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Since then, Small Business Saturday® has become a celebration of small businesses and local communities across the United States.

As a local resource, Macaroni Kid is a strong supporter of the Small Business Saturday® movement, which means that one of the best things about partnering with Macaroni Kid in your community is having the confidence that each Publisher across the nation supports local, small businesses. We are always excited to introduce new businesses and services to our loyal subscribers that consist of local parents, educators, community members and more -- at any time of the year. Small business owners can contact their local Macaroni Kid Publisher today to have your small business featured!
