I am a breakfast person. I truly believe a healthy breakfast is a necessary foundation for a great day. Yes, I can be a bit of a health nut about food in general, but breakfast is where I really do not allow for much wiggle room in my family’s diet. Needless to say I was thrilled when I found out that Bob’s Red Mill would be one of our Back to School Party sponsors. I was even more excited when I was chosen to write a review of their gluten free Oatmeal Cups.

Not only are the Oatmeal Cups ready in three minutes, but they are super hearty! Made from gluten free oats, stone ground Scottish oatmeal and flax and chia seeds, it’s no surprise each cup is packed with whole grains, protein and fiber.


The Oatmeal Cups can be prepared with hot or cold water. To prepare the Oatmeal Cups with hot water (tap or even Keurig), simply add the hot water and place the lid back on and wait for three minutes. If you add cold water, pop the cup in the microwave for a minute and then let sit for two minutes. It could not be easier!

Bob’s Red Mill Oatmeal Cups make the perfect breakfast or even mid-day snack. My whole family loved them and I appreciated the convenience and filling nutrition. I am keeping some on hand for school mornings and times when I am hurrying out the door to a meeting.
